Why America needs immigrants in the globalised world

The US can ill afford to take such a stance now.

When people come to the US, they do so as they are very well aware of the fact that no other country in the world offers fewer barriers than it to achieve economic prosperity. If the migrants can come into this country and become rich by offering services or products that the American public desires or needs, they will continue to come in and create a win-win relationship.

Of course, what the US needs to distinguish between are illegal immigrants and the highly-skilled legal migrants, who will take both themselves and Americans forward economically. This would weed out most of the problems afflicting the US.
