According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, its economy clocked in an annual yearly growth at 2.5%. The growth has been driven by three major factors of construction, exports and consumer product consumption. Goods and services export rose by 4.6%, while mining exports were up in 5.2%. These stats correspond with growth in employment as the economy is getting diversifying.

The OECD takes into consideration that satisfaction is a subjective concept, and hence come up with many different factors to consider general satisfaction. Out of a total number of 10 on general happiness, Australia reached a high of 7.3.
