Letter of acceptance (LOA)

You will obtain a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) when your application sent to DLI is approved. This letter is required to submit while applying for a study permit. Ensure the letter has the following details mentioned.

• The name and contact information of the DLI
• Your name, date of birth, and mailing address
• The Program of study you choose, the level of the program, duration of the study, its start date, and approximate date of completion.

How to apply for a student permit under the Student Direct Stream (SDS)?

Indian Students who are eligible to apply for the permits of study using the Student Direct Stream (SDS). The residents from a list of countries by default have study permit applications that are accelerated under this stream. The standard service that SDS takes is 20 days.

SDS provides there are more eligibility requirements. Apart from the requirements that are permitted using the normal study stream, students can apply to have a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) through SDS with a bank in Canada of $10,000 CAD.
