Temp. Overseas workers get increased Canada PRs

Increased Canada PRs are being obtained by migrants who arrived in Canada as temporary overseas workers according to the latest report by Statistics Canada. It is titled as ‘How provisional are temporary overseas workers?’

The report by Statistics Canada analyzes data of 4 cohorts of Lucrători străini temporari. The examples of TFWP programs include the Low-Skill Pilot, the Caregiver Live-in program, and Seasonal Workers for Agriculture program. Further TFWP participants were Highly-Skilled Experts recruited for contracts of short-term.

The analysis by Statistics Canada studied 4 variables to examine the impact if at all they had on the duration of TFWs in the two categories. These include specific characteristics of demography such as sex, age; social and economic conditions of source nation. It also covered regional and local economic-socio conditions and institutional factors of host nations such as regulations of the government.
