The best US visa pathway EB5 program also popular as the Golden Visa has been extended till 22 December 2017. This visa program was launched in 1990 by the US Congress. It allows an individual to make an investment of 500, 000 US dollars. This can be in either of the two Areas for Targeted Employment or TEA. Applications from India for this program shall continue to increase and it stands at the 6^th position at present, said Patel.

Elaborating the demography of the applicants from India, Patel said that students in the US and H-1B workers are applying for the EB-5 visa. Applicants also include families looking for relocation to the US and business owners, he added.
