This collaboration helped facilitate student exchanges between the Indian IITs and the Finnish Universities.

IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur collaborated with Aalto University. While the collaboration with IIT Kanpur offered a course in Design Factory Cooperation, the collaboration with IIT Madras offered a PhD Double Degree.

Finnish Universities pay more attention to developing practical skills in their students. The course curriculum is developed to make students industry-ready.
