Extragerea fluxului Priorități pe piața muncii, organizată de Nova Scoția

The province of Nova Scotia in Canada held its latest Provincial Nominee Program [PNP] draw on September 24, 2020.

În cea mai recentă extragere a programului de candidaturi din Nova Scotia [NSNP], invitațiile de a aplica – numite și Scrisori de interes [LOI] – au fost emise candidaților în cadrul fluxului Priorități pentru piața muncii din Nova Scoția.

Canadian immigration candidates with their profiles in the federal Express Entry system and meeting the labour market requirements in Nova Scotia are invited by the NSNP through the Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream.

Only the immigration candidates that have received a LOI from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration might apply through the NSNP for a provincial nomination.

As per the NSNP, the criteria for the September 24 draws included the candidate –

Having a primary occupation of either NOC 7322 [motor vehicle body repairers] or NOC 7321 [automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers].

Being able to provide letters of reference from employer as proof that they have 2 or more years of experience in NOC 7322/7321 within the previous 5 years.

Having a Canadian Language Benchmarks [CLB] of 5 or above in English in all 4 language abilities.

Having completed a program of 2 or more years at a college, university, technical school etc. An Educational Credential Assessment [ECA] report will be required.

Apply no later than 11:59 pm on October 24, 2020.

As part of the eligibility requirement, the candidate must have received their LOI from the NSNP within the federal Express Entry system. For this, the candidates would be required to have a valid Express Entry number and also meet all the criteria laid down by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] for the Express Entry.

The candidates that have been issued an LOI in the latest NSNP draw will be required to “submit your application within 30 calendar days of the date on which your letter of interest was issued".

As per the NSNP, the processing time for eligible applications can be 3 months or more.

Further, if successful in securing a nomination, the candidate would be required to apply – within 6 months of receiving their nominee certificate – to IRCC for their Canadian permanent residence visa.

According to the NSNP, “You, your spouse and your dependents must meet all requirements for medical, security and criminal admissibility.”
