Online application updating now available for applicants of Quebec Skilled Worker program

It has been announced by the Ministerul Imigrării, Inclusion, and Diversity in Quebec that the applicants of immigration to Canada through the program Quebec Skilled Worker can now avail the facility of updating their specific information online. It has been clarified by the Ministry that the applicants can update their contact details online. They can also eliminate or add a person (dependent child or spouse) in case there is a transformation of their personal circumstances after they had submitted their applications.

The applicants now also have the option to attest the test results for aptitude in English or French language that are approved by the Ministry of Immigration, Inclusion, and Diversity. They can also update the details of their members of the family who reside in Quebec, as quoted by the Știri CIC.

Accordingly, if an applicant has appeared for a fresh test for language after submitting the profile for QWSP, the applicant can update the results of the test for deliberation by the Programul de muncitori calificați din Quebec. The QSWP is based on a system of points and proficiency in English and French is one of the parameters for awarding points.

Earlier to this announcement, it was not possible for the applicants to update or modify the applications that they had submitted online.

The Ministry of Immigration, Inclusion, and Diversity announced that the online processing of applications will commence from 2017 spring. It also informed that the applicants would be intimated when the evaluation of their applications is commenced. The applicants will be personally sent a list of supporting documents that they have to submit.
