Quebec stabilește un obiectiv de 40,000 de imigranți PR pentru 2019

Quebec has announced that it could accept 40,000 fresh PR immigrants in 2019. It would offer around 24,800 CSQs – selection certificates in the year. This is as per the fresh immigration plan for 2019 outlined by the Canadian province.

59% or a majority of the fresh PR immigrants to Quebec in 2019 will be through its programs for economic immigration. This includes the QSWP - Programul de muncitori calificați din Quebec, după cum este citat de CIC News.

The breakup of the total PR immigrants has also been offered by Quebec. Out of the 40,000 fresh immigrants, 23, 450 will be through its programs for imigrația economică. This includes 19,500 skilled workers.

Cifrele pentru Business Immigration Programs have also been outlined by the province. These include its Quebec Self-Employed Worker Program, Quebec Entrepreneur Program, and Quebec Immigrant Investor Program. It is set at 3,200.

The intake target for other economic streams such as caregivers and others has been set at 750. The rest of the 16,550 PR immigrants are projected to arrive through refugee, family sponsorship, and other programe de imigrare.

In terms of CSQs or Quebec Selection Certificates, Quebec plans to offer between 24, 800 to 20,200 CSQs in 2019. Those who receive the CSQs can then apply for Canada PR directly to the federal government.

Skilled workers are projected to receive around 15,000 to 12,000 CSQs as per the 2019 plan. This is more than 50% of the total estimated figures.

Quebec has the sole liability of selecting its immigrants under the Canada-Quebec agreement. This makes it the only Canadian province having such an arrangement with the Federal Government of Canada.
