Viză la sosire Pentru fijieni: prim-ministrul Narendra Modi

[caption id="attachment_1498" align="alignleft" width="300"] Fiji Nationals can Avail VoA Facility in India[/caption] Prime Minister Narendra Modi after wooing people in Myanmar and Australia landed in Fiji for a day long visit. He was received by Frank Bainimarama, a former military ruler, at Suva International Airport. After his meeting with his Fiji counterpart, the Prime Minister announced a better cooperation with Fiji and said Fijians will be eligible for Visa-on-Arrival to India. He also announced an extended line of credit of $75million and $5million funds for development of villages across the Island. "It is a new day and a new beginning in our relations with Fiji. Fiji could serve as a hub for stronger Indian engagement with Pacific islands. I see this visit as an opportunity to renew an old relationship and lay the foundation for a strong partnership in the future," he said addressing the media from both the countries. Fiji is an Island country in the South Pacific Ocean with an overall population of over 800,000, of which more than 35% are Indo-Fijians. Indians migrated to Fiji during British rule and have made the islands their home. Fiji, therefore, offers a Visa on Arrival to Indians, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reciprocated the gesture by offering VoA to Fijians. Ever since the new Indian government came into force, it has announced VoA facility to nationals of United States, Norway, Mauritius, Russia, and now Fiji.
