15, 400 Canada Jobs were added in the month of February 2018 and the rate of unemployment further declined to 5.8%. The latest figures have been revealed by labor market survey of Statistics Canada. The national rate of unemployment decreased from 5.9% in January to 5.8% in February. This is on par with the lowest level ever since Statistics Canada began maintaining records from 1976. So far, the rate of unemployment has reached as low as 5.8% only twice during this period.

Looking at the year-on-year growth of Locuri de muncă în Canada, the labor market added 282, 000 positions that were an expansion of 1.5% for the past 1 year. This growth was entirely owing to the addition of full-time jobs.
