Saskatchewan launches new job training for Canada work immigrant aspirants with 20.1 million $

 

Saskatchewan province has launched new job training for Canada work immigrant aspirants even as it concluded 2017 with highest unemployment rates. It had 6.2% unemployment rate in 2017. National Employment Bank and Saskjobs.ca have partnered to offer enhanced user services.

 

The government of Saskatchewan has also released a press release in this regard. It says that the initiative partnered with National Job Bank will assist both job seekers and employers. This is with respect to finding, recruitment, and advertisement of jobs.

 

The Economy Minister of Saskatchewan Steven Bonk said that this collaboration will offer enhanced benefit sand features. This initiative is amongst the measures of the government to retain and attract skilled workers, said the Minister. It will be of much utility to Canada Muncă immigrant aspirants, he added, as quoted by the Leader-Post.

 

The press release further elaborated that a similar and comprehensive program is run by the national government of Canada. It is the program called the Canada Summer Jobs. This program has been significantly expanded for the benefit of the prospective job seekers to Canada.

 

The Saskatchewan government has revealed that around 5,000 job seekers are benefited yearly by its program. It, however, did not elaborate whether there is a decrease in the number of beneficiaries owing to reduction of the budget.

 

It was also revealed by the province that there has been to fall in the demand for apprenticeship and enrollments. This has resulted in 2.1 million dollars funds being decreased from the budget of the Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission. Nevertheless, 20.1 million dollars remain in the coffers of the commission. This will be available for training 6,000 job seekers in Saskatchewan for fiscal years 2017-18.
